| WNP Volunteer wins prestigious national award |

Alix Stockwell
has been awarded the prestigious Gold award for her volunteering over the past year.
The Gold Awards are a mark of
excellence in student volunteering and are awarded to a select band of student volunteers each year, who have shown outstanding leadership, dedication or achievement.
Ed Paxton, community volunteer manager at UEA was involved in the nomination process and admitted it had been a tough decision to choose just four volunteers out of 300
. He added
''We asked local charities where volunteers from UEA are actively involved to put forward nominations and considered the time commitment made by volunteers over the year and the impact of their activities''
