From 1st October 2007 our offices will be based at Fourways community centre on Stevenson Road. Known locally as 'Monkey Island', WNP's new home will enable us to be more accessible to our community and to continue the work we do within it.
This October half term (Monday 22nd - Friday 26th October) we are holding a community day for families to help welcome us to our new offices. Families of all ages will be able to enjoy head massage, face painting, disco music and free food and drink. There will also be a trip to Hollywood cinema in Anglia square to see the new Disney film, 'Ratatouille'. For young people, there is the opportunity to go roller skating, laser shooting a Quasar Elite as well as a Halloween arts & crafts session provided by local art group, Tin House. For further details or to download an application form please visit our 'Sorted' page.
We currently have a vacancy for a part time administrator to join our small, friendly team. Please see our ‘job opportunities' page for further details.
This summer was once again a fun-packed 6 weeks of trips out for families and activities for young people from our community. For families, trips included Bewilderwood, Pleasurewood hills, a day out at Gorleston beach, a disco and many more. Young people enjoyed getting wet and muddy cycling through Thetford forest, a boat trip out to Hustanton, lawn tennis and roller skating to name but a few. Some 3000 subsidised places were provided this year, with many new trips and activities for families and young people to try. Huge thanks are due to all our hard working staff and volunteers whose dedication helped to make everyone's summer sorted. Thanks are also due to the PCs & PCSOs at Earlham police station for their support during 10-16 activities throughout the summer. For a better picture of our summer of fun, have a look at the photographs on our 'Sorted' page.
The programme for WNP's highly popular Summer Sorted programme is now available. This year the programme offers 3000 places to families and young people within the West Norwich area. Full details can be found within the Sorted section of this website.
