Free Training - 'Be Your Own Boss'

The NELM Development Trust is offering an opportunity for up to 15 people to learn about how to set up and run a business.

Called ‘Be Your Own Boss’, this exciting course will be delivered by well known local business trainer Anne Francis and will cover all you need to know to start out in business or to take an existing business idea to the next level.

The course is absolutely free of charge and has ten sessions which run over five weeks starting on Monday 27 June. This course is aimed at people who may be facing barriers or disadvantages in their lives. Benefit rights will not be affected by attendance on this course.

All applicants will have a one-to-one counselling session to ensure this course is right for them......there are no strings attached but we want to make sure that everybody is able to make the most of this opportunity.

When and where:

The course will run on Mondays and Thursdays each week commencing 27 June and running for five weeks (12 sessions in all including the initial discussion plus a trip to a local networking event).

Training will start promptly at 9.30am and finish by 2pm on each day.

All refreshments including light lunches will be provided free of charge.

The course will be delivered in either the Henderson Business Centre on Ivy Road or the Baseline Centre on Knowland Grove. The flyer design session will be held at the Sure Start IT training Centre.
